The Venue

Location: Michagan Ave (LOOP) – 78 E. Washington St., Chicago, IL 60602
The Chicago Cultural Center, built in 1887, is one of Chicago’s premier Historic Landmark venues. Boasting two of the world’s largest Tiffany stained-glass domes, CCC is located right on Michigan Avenue across from Millennium Park. The Cultural Center has three magnificent ballrooms that are perfect for weddings, corporate and social events, and has played host to numerous Presidents, Royalty, Foreign Leaders, and Celebrities. The building itself is faced with Bedford Blue Limestone on a granite base, and is designed the neoclassical style with Italian Renaissance elements.

Preston Bradley Hall – The crown jewel of the Chicago Cultural Center, Preston Bradley Hall houses the spectacular Tiffany glass domed ceiling, believed to be one of the largest in the world. Twenty-five Tiffany glass chandeliers are splendidly spaced throughout the entire room. The hall features large, graceful marble arches inlaid with sparkling mosaics, with a spectacular view of Millennium Park. Preston Bradley Hall is an ideal space for weddings, corporate functions, cocktail receptions or concerts.
Capacity: 360 for a seated dinner, 500 theater style and 700 standing reception.

Grand Army of the Republic Memorial – Originally dedicated as a memorial for the Grand Army of the Republic of the Civil War, this palatial hall offers impressive views and features soaring walls which rise to a coffered ceiling. The GAR Rotunda serves as a foyer to the hall and includes the Cultural Center’s second Tiffany glass dome The Rotunda allows for a separate cocktail area before dinner.
Capacity: 250 for seated dinner, 300 theater style, 550 for standing reception.

Sidney R. Yates Gallery – The largest rental space in the Chicago Cultural Center was named in honor of the legendary Congressman from Illinois. This space, which encompasses nearly half of a city block, features floor to ceiling windows, a coffered ceiling, and Renaissance ornamentation. While not being used as an art gallery, this space can be used for private events.
Capacity: 450 for a seated dinner, 550 theater style and 800 standing reception.

Wedding Packages

Wedding Packages for the Chicago Cultural Center include the room rental, administration fee, building security, custodial services, labor and equipment, two Chicago Police Officers, one bridal room, an event coordinator, dance floor, and technical services for a basic wedding ceremony.
